Deadpool is a wise cracker, even nicknamed the Merc with the mouth. He will not pass up a chance to deliver a one liner or a joke and most often they are not good ones, though he plays them off as though they are. This often angers those around him but he doesn't seem to care, just gives him more excuses to make jokes. He thinks hes hilarious(which to the readers he definitely is) but this trait of him makes it hard for others to work with him, due to not taking anything seriously. Deadpool also has no boundaries to who he is making jokes at, he has made jokes even towards the ruthless brute wolverine, who seems to be a fun target for him due to their history together and their shared abilities.

Deadpool is absolutely nuts due to the experiments that were done on him. He does not remember his past but he does somehow notice that he is a fictional character, breaking the 4th wall very often, he is capable of seeing yellow boxes that have texts in them, and even talking back to them as though they are his friends. He is very unpredictable in battle because of this, not even knowing himself what he is doing most of the time. He doesn't hesitate to anger people if he wants, although most of the time he doesn't mean to anger people, he just sorta does by being his normal annoying self, which often gets people to try and kill him, to no avail.

Deadpool would be lost without battle, he even thinks his one fear is to be alone with no one to react to him. To him the ultimate torture is to be bored for eternity, no actions, no people to say jokes to or at. This is pretty obvious with the way he acts in battle, acting like a kid in a candy store whenever he shoots his guns or slashes his swords, he has loads of fun in battle and never seems to stop having fun. Some examples of him having fun would be whenever he fires his gun he would often go "BANG BANG BANG" to mimic the sound his guns make, as well as other sound effects that he says himself.

Deadpool also seems to be very perverted, often focusing more on boobs bouncing then the woman actually being a threat, of course he doesn't seem to think many people are threats to him, even the incredible hulk who he could just jump on and shove a grenade down his throat. Regardless he is quite a big fan of the babes, and isn't hesitant to let them know that, asking them out if he can get the chance despite having a romantic relationship with Death already.


Background:

Not too much is known about Deadpool's childhood. Sometime after his mother died from cancer, his father was killed by a drunken friend, and he was kicked out of the United States Army Special Forces, "Wade" joined Project X.

Little was known of Wilson's subsequent mercenary activities. At one point he was active in Tangier, Morocco where he romanced a woman named Francie. When this relationship soured, he traveled throughout Asia, and was hired in Japan by a crime lord, the Boss, to infiltrate a sumo-wrestling ring owned by a rival criminal, the Oyakata. Wilson spent three years as a wrestler under the Oyakata's tutelage and became romantically involved with his mentor’s daughter, Sazae. When the Boss finally ordered the Oyakata's murder, Wilson refused to complete his assignment, allegedly the first time he had ever done so, and relocated to the United States.

In America, Wade met and fell in love with mutant teenage prostitute Vanessa Carlysle, with whom he shared dreams of a better life. Wilson was subsequently hired by Middle Eastern interests to assassinate a blind British government operative named Althea, also known as Blind Al, but upon arrival at the Zaire base where she was stationed, he killed everyone except for Al who had fled.

Wilson’s employers sought vengeance for his failure by targeting Vanessa, who was rescued by Zoe Culloden, an employee of the inter-dimensional firm Landau, Luckman, Lake, and LeQuare. Culloden was keeping Wilson under surveillance, believing he was destined to play a vital part in a potential threat to the world. Learning that he had contracted cancer, Wilson broke up with his girlfriend Vanessa rather than force her to remain with a terminally ill man. He even gave up his chemo treatments, not wishing to prolong things.

In Canada, he was offered hope in the form of Department K, a special weapons development branch of the Canadian government. Wilson became a test subject in Department K’s branch of the joint U.S./Canadian superhuman enhancement project, the Weapon X Program; his cancer was temporarily arrested via the implantation of a healing factor derived from another Department K agent, the mutant adventurer Wolverine.

Wilson was active in a covert field unit alongside the near-invulnerable Sluggo and the cyborgs Kane and Slayback. Vanessa herself was later affiliated with the team after having manifested mutant shapeshifting abilities, calling herself Copycat.

During one mission, Wilson killed his teammate Slayback. As a result, he was rejected from the Weapon X Program and sent to the Hospice, allegedly a government facility where failed superhuman operatives were treated. However, unknown to the Canadian government, the Hospice’s patients served as experimental subjects for Doctor Killebrew and his sadistic assistant Ajax (known then as The Attendant), with the patients placing bets in a "deadpool" as to how long each subject would live. Killebrew subjected Wilson to various torturous experiments for his own deranged satisfaction.

In due course, Wilson formed a romantic relationship with the cosmic entity Death, who regarded him as a kindred spirit. Wilson started trying to kill himself, to join Death - going so far as to start taunting Ajax by saying his real name (Francis) over and over, which earned him the respect of his fellow Hospice patients. Then Ajax, angered by Wilson’s taunts, lobotomized Worm, the closest thing Wilson had to a friend. At Death’s prompting, Wilson killed Worm to end his suffering.

However, under Killebrew's rules any patient who killed another was to be executed; Ajax subsequently tore out Wilson’s heart and left him for dead, but Wilson’s thirst for vengeance was so strong that it jump started his healing factor, regenerating his heart, although not curing his scarred body. Wilson then escaped the now-empty room and attacked the guards, making his way to Ajax. Wilson shot him in the chest with two automatic rifles, leaving him for dead. Taking the name Deadpool, he escaped from the Hospice with his fellow patients.

Deadpool was relaxing in his armchair at home, surrounded by the many pictures of naked women and explosions, his mask was lifted up to reveal his mouth, his scarred skin rather noticeable an-,"HEY, the reader's don't need to know about my scarred skin asshole, besides, I am way too beautiful on the inside for my skin to matter." Right... sorry, anyway the point is that there is going to be some action happening soon, alarms are going off outside of his home as Deadpool got up, grabbing his guns and putting them in his holsters along with the two katana's he put in a cross pattern on his back as he pulled out a picture of a beautiful lady whom was his target in the area, luckily it was right near his home, so he decided to come back to it to chill until he heard something outside, which he just did, so might as well head out now, "Ya ya I'm going, sheesh." He spoke rather rudely to the writer, opening the side window of his home and climbing out, closing it behind him as he began running out on the street, a car suddenly running him over, sending him flying into the air and landing flat on his face, "Oof... Didn't take long before I became road kill huh?" He said to himself before getting up quickly and rushing after the car.

Pulling out his two guns from their holsters as he rushed after the car, he pointed them at the car ahead of him, firing them, "BANG BANG BANG! BANG!" He yelled in rhythm with his gun shots which hit the back tires of the car, causing it to swerve out of control and stop, using his teleportation device to send himself forward quite a bit to catch up and stand on top of the car, the woman who was on the picture walking out and looking up at him, "Woah!" He spoke in surprise as he looked at the picture again, "Thank god you are her, or well, you, I was saying to myself, 'Deadpool, what if this isn't actually the target?' and then I was like, 'Please me, I know what I am doing!' but there was always that little bit of dout in my mind that I was causing a big mess that I wouldn't be able to get myself out of, but wow, thank god you are you!" The girl looked rather confused an annoyed, which of course was normal for the people around Deadpool, "Hey!" Sorry, but it's true.

Pointing one of his guns at the girl, she began to rush away, throwing down a smoke bomb to conceal her sight, "Damnit! Why do they always have smoke bombs? Were they on sale or something?" He asked himself, rushing after her again, through the smoke as he stopped suddenly, she pointed a gun square in his face, "Woah ho ho, look, I know it may seem like a good idea to shoot me in the head, but trust me, I can think of other ways you could blow your load..." The girl just got angered and shot him in the head, his body landing flat on it's back as the girl smirked in approval, "Ouch..." He said in response as he slowly got up, no real damage in his head anymore, he just put his hand over his face, "Okay okay, I know the whole blow your load joke didn't make sense because you are a girl and all, but hey I thought it was pretty clever!" The girl continued to shoot him all over the body in response, "Ouch! oof! gah! OH YOU GOT ME!" He fell over again as the girl began running away, "Man I hoped I could of just captured her or something, I'd hate to shoot such a babe..." With that he pointed his gun at her leg, shooting her and causing her to collapse, rushing over and looking down at her, "Woah, I feel like I should be saying something funny here but.. for once I just can't think of anything..." The girl seemed to give up after Deadpool pointed his guns at her, picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder with his gun pointed at her face.

Deadpool brought her to the meet up with the ones who hired him, it was on a large bridge, putting her down and catching the money that was tossed at him, "Hahaha, sweet! Wow with this..." He looked down at the girl for a moment, "Oh umm, if you ever get out and you need a place to stay, hotel el Deadpool is always open... Call me..." He whispered to her, putting his hand to the side of his face doing a hand sign in the symbol of a phone before winking at her, "Alright I guess I'll be off, later gents." He said before the man pointed a gun at him, "Hold it right there, we can't have you squealing about us... we paid ya.. but now its time to end ya life..." Deadpool sighed as he turned to them with his hands up, "Man I just knew I couldn't get through today without another gunshot to my body... Oh well, looks like you got a place to stay at Hotel el Deadpool after all miss!" With incredible speed, he pulled out his katana's, the thugs firing their guns and Deadpool knocking the bullets away with his katana's, rushing after them and teleporting behind them as he turned and sliced their heads off, "Now don't lose your heads now, hehe..." The girl seemed both annoyed and relieved as Deadpool picked her up and began heading back, "Sorry for shooting your leg, now that the apologies are out of the way, how about a nice taco dinner." The girl struggled out of his grasp and threw down another smoke bomb, jumping off the side of the bridge and landing on a boat, speeding away as Deadpool looked down at her and scratched his head before turning to face the direction of the readers, "Women, am I right fellas?".
