Insanity Rings(Open)

It was the dark of night. The lights from the city had blocked out the lights of the stars completely making the sky look like a blanket of black. A fog started to settle its way into the city as the stillness of the city seem to permeate everything. For some reason tonight the bustling city of Gotham had start to go silent. Maybe all the citizens of the city felt the presence of a God that had enter their lovely city. Keeping to the tops of buildings Tsuna was in his Raven form flyring over the city, landing on buildings and wondering if he could find any sort of entertainment tonight. Ever since his last adventure he had started to get bored. Oh sure, massive destruction relieved stress but doing the same thing over and over again was never healthy.

It was as he was flying over Gotham when he noticed a figure. His senses told him that the creature that was standing there was dangerous and the though thrilled him. He changed directions and headed toward the figure atop the building. It was a woman and as she looked down on the humans he got a strange feeling. This girl was a monster. The dissonance he felt from her, although she was human there was the undeniable atmosphere of something more, something dangerous that drew him closer. Tsuna may be considered a bit insane, but he was a functioning sociopath. However, that just proved to make him all the more dangerous for it. Being a God of chaos meant that he gravely needed to fuel his desire for destruction or any other form of activity that violated someone mentally or physically. He had started to suppress that urge long ago, but it only proved to manifest itself as a voice in his mind. The voice was right now was quiet, but that only proved to make Tsuna more weary of it.

He watched her as she dangled her feet off the side of the building. He cocked his head, wondering what the person was thinking about. He couldn’t help but think she was beautiful. However, he liked crazy, and man did she give off that vibe. It excited him, but for all the wrong reasons, and he loved it. He pushed the urge down, he didn’t come here tonight to steal women from their homes and violate them. He was saving that bit of fun for another night. He landed on the building, a few meters from where she sat and began to transform back into his original form.

Now, standing behind Kalia, was a 6 foot 1 bronze skin God with Slitted golden eyes. His bright crimson hair came down to his shoulders and he wore a white button up with a crimson tie and black pants. He cracked his knuckles which were in fingerless gloves and stretched. His figure exuded a kind of dangerous beauty that would most likely attract any woman, unless they had a strong moral compass. Of course in the latter case they usually ended up his slaves one way or another. “Let me guess, are you contemplating the meaning of life? Or are you just deciding who to kill next?”, The devilish smirk that appeared on his face as he said these words would either frighten someone or melt them in ecstasy. His relaxed demeanor showed all the sign of being completely comfortable with who and what he was as he wait for his beautiful monster to respond to his inquire.

She was encircling him like he was her prey, judging him, scrutinizing him. However, instead of being angry, he smiled. In fact he nearly roared with pleasure. Now this was the kind of fun he hadn't had in a long time. No this woman wasn't afraid, in fact, she was so brave it neared stupidity. But Tsuna felt that it was more than that. It was a compulsion that she felt, that all creatures of the night felt. It was the reason he was here in the first place. Every time she came into sight he racked his sight over her, taking in every inch. When she wasn't in sight he felt her through his senses. This along with her retorts to his questions just riled him up a bit. Although not expecting his he was truly starting to enjoy himself. The last time he felt this way when the time he found a would be hero who had the wit to make some of the best retort. He liked the hero so much he gave him a quick and painless death.

“I see nothing passes by you so easily. What gave it away? My crimson hair or my golden eyes?” His smile was mocking. Of course no one knew exactly what Tsuna was and he liked it that way. Of course most people claimed he was a dragon. A primordial force of utter chaos, and they would be half right. She started to move closer to him. *Be careful what you wish for girly, mess with the bull and you might get the horns, if you know what I mean*. The voice in his head was snickering and making jokes, he liked this one as well. The closer she got the more grudging respect he had to give her. She knew he wasn't human and he exuded a dangerous aura, yet she came closer. He wasn't sure of what to make of that but he couldn't say he didn't like it. Well if she wanted to dance, then maybe it was time to play a tune.

He sauntered up to her as well. His every move gave off such seductive power that any normal woman would be on their knees begging. Of course that was also the reason he didn’t attempt to break the normal. They were always too eager to please. He came right up on her and placed his hand under her chin and brought it up to his face. “Are you sure you want to know that little one. Or is it something else you’re after”. The silky smooth voice that came from his mouth seemed to fill the entire area. He caressed her cheek and then let it go. Without answering her question he turned his back to her, almost like he trusted her not to try anything and looked out at the city.

“This is the time where monsters rule and angels cry, and you, princess, are no angel” He said as he turned one golden slittled eye on her. His head was turned half way to her with a smile, a genuine one that spoke of destruction and cruelty she could only imagine. “The wandering God and the dancing demon make their acquaintance in midsummer’s night, sounds poetic don’t you think?”. Continuing with his smile he turned back to her fully. He sat on the nearby ledge and crossed his legs facing her. “So now, my princess of the night, the question you ask of me is one I now ask of you. What manner of demon possess you?”

Tsuna smirked a bit as he listened to her complaining. It was quiet amusing for he understood many things just by listening to this conversation. This girl was interesting and although he understood the concept of being bored it didn’t really apply to this situation all that well. Tsuna allowed a hint of amusement to enter his voice as he spoke. “You know, if you were truly bored you would have left a long time ago.” Tsuna said this in such a matter of fact manner that it left no room for debate. If the girl was truly bored with this conversation then she would have high tailed it out long before. Whether she realized it or not she was interested in who and what Tsuna really was. Either that or she was interested in him as a person. In either case he knew that she wouldn’t simply leave without gaining the information she wanted.

“Just so you understand, I am a being of chaos and destruction” he continued. The amusement in his tone did not wither as he spoke. “I don’t really have agendas. I do what I want when I want it. Power and glory are things sought by lesser beings and can be achieved through other means. I simply take what I desire and do with it what I wish”. Tsuna had not come to gotham on a whim though. Something pulled him here and whatever it was made him curious. Upon getting here however, he felt the Ghost’s presence and that. For some reason that intrigued him more and he decided to see who she was. Of course he doubted that this human would be that much of an interest to him but for some reason she drew him in and that alone kept him here, that and the fact that this verbal sparring was clearly amusing to both parties involved.

She had asked him if he were the god or demon and truth be told he was both and he was neither. The riddle was an interesting one at that. It did not truly have an answer. Tsuna turned to her, his golden eyes catching the moon light and spoke again. “As for the riddle, whether I be god or demon means naught, however princess, t is what you perceive me to be that makes it so.” Another riddle but a lot easier to understand. She was both and neither, as long as people tought he was one or the other he was and if they didn’t know his true nature than he was neither. Tsuna’s propensity towards riddles of this nature always seemed to irritate people and he enjoyed them. “the realy question of today is what do you see in me that keeps you here young one?” Tsuna smiled a knowing smile. “I must be of some interest to you or else you would not stay.” Tsuna’s smile turned into mock cockiness. “Tell me what it is you truly desire”

Hearing the words human made Tsuna chuckle inwardly. This girl had guts, he had to give her that much. Tsuna had been living among humans for so long now that he must have picked up on their mannerisms. If he were any other sort of creature then he might have been offended. But being what he was made it all the better. There were very few women that he found interesting enough to talk too without trying to utterly destroy them mentally and physically. Granted, lately the voice in his head that compelled him to do such things had started to fade but he always found time to come out of the wood work. Tsuna was a god of chaos, in all sense of the word. Although the gods, being Olympians, asguardians, etc. were just people with different abilities and life spans than those of humans. The people of earth who did not truly understand this called them gods. Tsuna was born of chaos, nothing that has to do with order will suffice. Although he has been trying hard lately. He needs order or else he won’t be able to have the fun he so wishes to have.

He continued to listen to her without making an attempt to interrupt and that was when she came close to him and peered straight into his own eyes. She spoke of what she truly desired, what she wanted, and how she could never have it. At least that was the impression he got. But then again it wasn’t that no man, god, demon, or angel could give it to her. It was that she did not want them to give it to her. Tsuna’s intuition was something he was proud of. As she stared into his eyes he understood that unless she accepted that person into her life fully that she would never allow herself to grasp what she desired. And what she desired was, something that people couldn’t give her but at the same time she could allow them to give her. It was a riddle, at least that was how Tsuna interpreted it in his mind. His propensity towards riddles creates them from nowhere sometimes, since he is good at figuring them out then he takes it in stride.

While Tsuna was thinking she disappeared to reappear across from him. Tsuna decided he liked this one, a lot. They could probably be good friends. And just as the though entered his mind his smile faded for half a second. What was going on lately, friends, first Hoshi and now this one. Well at least all his so called ‘friends’ are women. Of course then one wasn’t one yet but he doubted that they would be enemies. *You’ve been hanging around humans too long…* the voice in his head whispered. Well if he were more docile then it would just be easier to get on someone’s good side before taking them for everything they are worth. Smirking again Tsuna flashed over to where Ghost was. Not as fast as the flash, but his speed was still impressive. He wasn’t a tank, he focused on speed and this definitely showed that much. His left arm slipped around her waist and his right arm tiled her head up to his as he spoke. “You are an interesting human”, the glint in his eyes almost seemed like a predator going after it’s kill, only more playful. “You think you don’t deserve to acquire what it is you desire, therefore you don’t obtain it.” He continued with his soft seductive tone. He brought his lips to her ear and said in a voice as soft as a whisper. “I can see through you just as easily as I can see through glass my little Ghost Princess”

Tsuna turned to her, his amusement still plain on his face. To dance with the devil is to put your life on the lne. To tangle with death, and live life to the fullest. His posture was still relaxed. He was clearly amused by her antics. Seemed she was uncomfortable with close contact, however, she didn’t seem to dislike it and therefore Tsuna just smiled. Tsuna nearly roared with laughter at just show of skill, getting way from him with such ease. Granted had this been a real fight things would have turned out much differently. He looked her over from top to bottom taking in every bit of her and making it clear that he was doing so and that he liked what he saw. Appreciation crossed his face. “You have got to be one of the few humans to ever truly interest me” a hint of amused astonishment entered his voice. His predatory smile appeared on his face once more.

“You say you don’t enjoy me touching you but that was not wholly true was it?” The playful smirk appeared on his face again as he made his way to her once more. He took slow deliberate steps to her. With every step one could feel the power that emanated from him. With every slow seductive step Tsuna’s presence seemed to fill the roof top. “Somewhere deep within you liked it, that would be because it is what you wanted, don’t be afraid to admit it”. The smile, like the devil himself were inviting you to a party was growing with every word. “Uncomfortable yes, but contact with another being, one who could stand on equal footing with you, one who can make you feel normal, that is what you truly desire”. Normal, that was what she wanted, she wanted to feel normal, but she wasn’t. She knew it and so did he.

He stopped in front of her. His golden eyes stared into hers and he allowed her to see him. He allowed emotion to come to his eyes. His desire for everything. Power, money, affection, lust. He was not normal but he was able to live so because he allowed it to be so. “You don’t think that there is someone out there that can stand on equal footing as you so you reject them. You reject everything. You wish to be normal but you force yourself into a cage in which the only one who holds the key is you.” He came even closer to her. He didn’t grab her this time but he also don’t allow there to be much space between them. His gaze stayed locked on her. “I can give you what you desire, you just have to let me my little Ghost”

Tsuna listened to her speak and when she was done it was too much. He couldn’t hold it in any longer. He roared with laughter, one from deep within. There was something sinister in the way he did so. It was a laugh that would send chills down one’s spine. It was a laugh that seemed to say *Finally*. Tsuna of course was playing with her the whole time. Manipulating her feelings and learning more about her than she probably gave him credit for. For the first time in the entire night a genuine smile appeared on his face. But it wasn’t the smile of an angel. No it was one more devlish than anything he had shown to her yet. Women were the greatest riddle, he finally understood the saying that one of his associates was fond of saying. They are the greatest mystery and that is why men are attracted to them. You’ll never get what you want and when you do you won’t be sure if you want it anymore. They can control you, manipulate you yet they are bound to you.

“And is that not what I have been saying all along” Inadvertently Ghost had basically told him he was correct. He had heard everything he needed to for this conversation. Everything else would come in due time. “You have found the man who can give you what you want and yet you do not take of the fruit” said Tsuna as he admired her figure. Tsuna never tries to hide the lust that fills him. Well not when he doesn’t need to. When he was under his alias he always made sure to keep close reigns on his desires but while he was in his true form there was no need. “You just keep getting more and more interesting, I would ask you why but I feel I already know the answer. And if I’m wrong it makes no difference”. Tsuna shrugged. She has all the means to get what she wanted but she doesn’t go after it herself. One can only assume that her desire to be normal is only part of what she wants or a fabrication she uses to hide the fact that she loves being a monster. Hell she might not want to be normal at all.

She expressed that she doesn’t do anything for free. She seemed to be proposing a deal. Tsuna liked deals. It always made him feel like the devil bargaining for a poor saps soul. “You speak of a deal and that intrigues me” Tsuna said. He seemed to take on the manner of the trickster god loki. He would tell no lies be he may also only speak half-truths. Dealing with the devil was always a tricky business. “You say you don’t come free, well then name your price” The roguish smile gave him a charm that was much different than what he showed earlier. It was obvious by the way he talked that he was having fun. And for once he hoped that he was entertaining his audience because the more she was amused the more he could play.

Tsuna checkled deviously at the wit of the human female. Despite what he might say, he had actually come to like her and would like to account her among his associates if nothing else. The could be pretty good accomplices, sewing chaos everywhere. He could see it in her eyes. She was a monster and he liked it, a lot. “I may be the serpent that dangles the fruit, but even a wise man can take a bite. Especially when the fruit is ripe” said tsuna as he eyed her carefully for once. He wanted to count her among his associates but going about this might be difficult. She was a strong willed woman and usually he just took strong willed women and broke them both physically and mentally to his will but he wanted this one with all her wits. That meant doing nothing to her, well nothing that she didn’t want done to her.

“You must understand, this is not the devil coxing you into doing something you will ultimately regret. It is an arrangement. I scratch your back you scratch mine”. He said it in a way that could imply something sexual but also left it open enough that it could have been a normal statement. He would leave that up to her to decide. This wasn’t Tsuna tempting her into something she didn’t want. She would put up the terms and he would agree, provided that they were not too outrageous of demands. That was when he heard that she wanted to find out his name for the contract. He would have been surprised if he wasn’t so impressed. It seems that she did not forget that he maneuvered around the question originally. Of course he didn’t want people knowing his true name but if that was what she wanted for the deal then the conditions would need to be changed.

“Since this is a contract, a give or take things change a little.” Tsuna said with a smile on his face. He was enjoying this. He would have to set terms because her knowing his name would be a problem for him and to be honest he didn’t know if he could trust her fully yet. *Just kill her and be done with it* the voice in his head snarled. It was always wanting violence but this situation required tact. “It seems you want to go for gold but the rights to my name are not easily sold” Speakign in rhyme was becoming more and more fun. Made him feel mysterious. Man he really had been hanging around humans too long. “If you want to know my name you’ll have to work with me. Become my partner. I don’t just trust anyone with my name. If you stay by me and work with for me we have a deal” He said and before she could object he added the rest of the deal. “This will work both ways though. I will help you in things you wish to accomplish. I’ll even give you a nice place to live, well that is if you wish for such. I can provide for you financially with ease. Just stay by my side, be my partner and don’t betray my trust and we have a deal”

And that was the moment Tsuna fell in love…….or not. Tsuna doesn’t understand the concept of such a deep feeling. He roared with laughter. Granted he never thought she would take the offer but it wasn’t a bad one. Besides she seemed interested enough, even promising that there would be a next time. He was truly enjoying this one that was for sure. Not a single human had ever been able to make tsuna have this much fun. Hell he even looked forward to their next meeting. “And round and round the wheel of fate turns. Where it wil end, nobody knows” After saying this with an evil grin on his face he transformed into his raven form and took off to the skies leaving behind a disembodied voice. “Until we meet again my little Ghost Princess” followed by manical laughter as tsuna exited the scene.
